Based in Massachusetts, I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families to address the problems they see as holding them from achieving what they want in life. Solution-driven, I specialize in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders that stem from phase of life transitions, relationship issues, past traumas, substance abuse, grief/loss, parenting, and the need for social skill improvement. I have worked with clients on various issues, including minor alcohol-related disturbances, anxiety and depression, ADHD, anger, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, career counseling, divorce, trauma and PTSD, and more.
Together, we arrest any potential spiral and redirect your energy through cognitive therapy, action methods, and goal-orientation. We discover the cause of your problem (within 1-3 sessions), identify your desired outcomes, outline a personal action plan to get you where you want to be, and work on the emotional barriers that block your way in realizing your successful outcomes.
Previously, I worked with clients at MHM Services in Walpole, Massachusetts, the Community Counseling of Bristol County in Taunton, and South Bay Mental Health in Brockton. I also served Parkway Behavioral Health and Families Together Inc. for the Juvenile Justice Treatment Continuum in Asheville, NC.
I earned a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and justice studies from University of New Hampshire.
